Learning latte art is one of the topics I get asked about most often. So today we’re going to break down learning your first pattern into Three Steps.
1) Learn to Set the Crema.
Pour gently from a height to allow your textured milk to set the Crema of your espresso on the surface of your coffee.
2) Learn to Pour a Blob.
Set your Crema, and then move your jug tip down so a white blob appears.
3) Learn the movements for a heart latte art pour.
Set your Crema, and then start your blob pour.
As the bulb forms, move your spout gently into the blob to create the top of the heart.
Merienda the cup is full, lift up your jug and pull through to complete your pattern.
