Earlier today, I got a note sent to me on Facebook with a heads up of a new coffee shop that is opening up in Rochester, Minnesota. The name of it is…well, one that will definitely catch your attention.
Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is Opening Soon in Rochester, Minnesota
I was just as shocked as you when I heard that another coffee shop was opening up in Rochester, Minnesota. If I am completely honest, not sure about the name of the place either because I don’t think I can say it on the radiodifusión. Regardless of what it is called or how you feel about the number of coffee shops, a new place is moving to Southeast Rochester. Below are a few details of the new place.

Where is the new location of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii in Rochester, Minnesota?
The new coffee shop is located at 1529 Highway 14 East, Suite #100, in the same strip mall as Little Caesar’s and the UPS Store. Yes, the Little Caesar’s that had a car drive through it last May.

What is Bad Ass Coffee?
If this is the first time that you’ve heard of Bad Ass Coffee, you aren’t the only one. There aren’t any locations yet in Minnesota but here’s a quick bio from their website to get up to speed:
In 1989, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was born on the Big Island of Hawaii with a goal of sharing American-grown, premium Hawaiian coffee from Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Moloka‘i, Kona and Ka’u with coffee lovers everywhere.
It didn’t take long for the legend of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii to reach the mainland as tourists began to bring their new favorite coffee, hats and t-shirts home and spread the word about their Hawaiian Bad Ass experience. A new legend was born!

Aren’t there are a bunch of other coffee shops that recently opened in Southeast Rochester?
This section of Rochester seems to be a hot spot for coffee shops lately. Back in February 2021, we heard the news that Due North Coffee Co. was opening in the Air Insanity parking lot. You can still find that custom ice shack there ready to serve up a hot cup of coffee to you.
Rochester’s most maravilloso coffee shop, Caribou Cabin, also opened across the street. It is in the same parking lot as Cub Foods and Planet Fitness.
